For all areas of service within Outreach, we highly value creative thinking, strategic planning, frontline workers and behind the scenes workers, and a heart for building the Kingdom of God. We invite you to explore the many opportunities for serving at CotC.
Acts of Mercy on Saturday Evenings
This ministry serves the needy in our community by focusing on feeding them spiritually and physically and providing clothing. This requires table facilitators/hosts, cooking team members, set up/tear down help, and non-perishable canned food and clothing donations. If you are interested, please contact Dustin Lindberg.
Prayer Team: We value prayer and seek to build
teams who pray using a variety of prayer styles. If you want to learn and
grow in your prayer life, or would like to learn about our new Prayer
Room Ministry, contact
Prayer chains: Adopt a CotC staff person in prayer and make a vital
difference in his life. For more information, contact Sandra Petersen. Praying for the needs of people in our church through our
e-mail prayer chain is a great way to stay in touch with the prayer requests. Be a part of this very vital ministry. Contact
Q-Place Bible Study: Initiate a neighborhood Bible study using the seeker-friendly Q-Place study guides. Your family/neighbors only need to believe that the Bible is worth studying to discover the truths of the Bible for themselves. These study guides have been reaching seekers from all walks of life for years. You can give them the opportunity to encounter God, grow in faith, and follow Jesus through this low-key tool.
