Come join us for crazy games, awesome worship, relevant talks, fun small groups, incredible off campus events, and everything else we can fit into anhour and a half.

HIGHER GROUND
High School Ministry
Grades 9th-12th
Take a break from your busy lives and enjoy a night with your friends and leaders as we grow together in faith, one week at a time. Sometimes we meet off campus, but every time we meet, we meet with Jesus. We will have a seat for you!

Why Student Ministries?
Because...
First and foremost, God loves Junior High and High School students.
Students hunger for and need authentic, caring relationships (mentors)
from those other than their peers. Student Ministry Leaders are able to
pour into the lives of students with spiritual maturity and Christ’s love.
Defining our Target Audience: (who we are all about):
Community: Teens living within a realistic driving distance of CotC.
Crowd: Students who walk through our door and fill out a welcome card. (From unknown to known)
Congregation: Students who regularly attend CotC and would consider it their home church.
Committed: A Christian student who is growing in their faith by developing spiritual habits.
Core: Students expressing their gifts by doing ministry.
How it plays out – Student Ministry Purposes:
Engage: CotC students are engaging in authentic relationships
with other believing students.
Explode: CotC students are exploding in growth in their
love relationship with God.
Exercise: CotC students are exercising their gifts to serve
Jesus.
Evangelize: CotC students are loving unbelieving students through
intentional and lifestyle evangelism.
Exalt: CotC students are exalting God in worship with their
lives.
