"No One Walks Alone"
Church of the Chimes seeks to support and empower its members in all the stages of life, by providing care and resources to help them through grief, financial reverses, and other difficult life transitions. This is accomplished by the following ministries:
The Life Resource Center (LRC)
Open Sunday mornings after each worship service
LRC offers resources that promote spiritual formation and healing, encouraging a daily commitment to grow closer to Jesis Christ in every aspect of our lives. Some of the resources found in the LRC are inspirational books, DVDs, CDs, videos, audio books, small group guides for Bible studies, and materials related to major life transitions. There is also a flat screen TV for small group leaders to preview videos. The entrance is just to your left as you leave the sanctuary. This room may also be reserved for small study groups, classes, or meetings by calling the church office, 723.3600.
The Care Team provides care and love to those in need at every stage of life. If you are available to write a card, bring a meal, make a phone call once a month, visit someone in the hospital, or provide a ride to a church service, please contact or attend the monthly meeting on the second Tuesday at 7:00 pm.
Visiting Care Team has a place for you if you have a heart for
those who are unable to attend church due to physical limitations.
Grief Care provides support groups, individual counseling, and
other resources for those who have suffered a painful loss. Support groups
are offered semi-annually where you can regain hope through the support
of others and find encouragement in the Psalms. No previous Bible knowledge
is needed. To join this group contact
Individual counseling is offered by appointment only.
The Barnabas Fund exists to help members of Church of the Chimes
through times of financial difficulty. Recipients of Barnabas Funds are
first interviewed by members of the pastoral staff who then refer them
to the Barnabas Team. For further information, please contact the church office, 723-3600.
